Sight Words Lab ("we", "our", or "the app") is a children's educational app designed to help young readers practice sight words. We take your family's privacy seriously, especially because our app is designed for children.
We do not collect any personal information.
All data created within the app, including user profiles (name and avatar selection) and learning progress (words practiced and learned), is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party.

All app data is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, your data may sync across your devices through Apple's iCloud service, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to any of this data.
Sight Words Lab offers in-app purchases to unlock additional grade-level word packs. All purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Purchase transactions are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The app uses your device's built-in text-to-speech capability to read words aloud. All speech processing happens entirely on your device. No audio data is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
We do not use any analytics services, tracking tools, or third-party SDKs. We do not track your activity within or outside the app.
Sight Words Lab does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms. The only external service involved is the Apple App Store for processing in-app purchases.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device. No data will remain on any external server because none was ever sent.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
